Bollywood shy away from openly supporting SRK

"Go ahead SRK, we are with you," is what the Bollywood celebs are quietly saying by tweeting their thoughts on the micro blogging site. But when the stars need to come out and speak in open, a very few are doing so.
SRK had been fighting lone against the Shiv Sena for expressing his views in favor of the Pakistani players' presence in the IPL. The Shiv Sena assaulted King Khan for expressing his views demanding apology.
There are very few people who have come out and supported Shah Rukh, and surprisingly these people are either SRK's foe, or people from different camps.(Aamir Khan, Mahesh Bhatt).

Aamir Khan, a long-time foeman of SRK, was the first one to support SRK for the views he had expressed. "National boundaries are man-made. If someone is a good cricketer, then I would want him in my team. I don't care which country he belongs to," Aamir said. This isn't the first time that Aamir extended his support for SRK.

Actress Shabana Azmi also supported Shah Rukh Khan for his comments, citing the example of her movie 'Fire,' which was not allowed to be released in Mumbai because it was based on lesbians. "It is very important for all of us to get up and say that they are not going to accept this kind of extra-constitutional authority,'' said Azmi

Shiv Sena continued its wrath, "Shah Rukh Khan must withdraw his comments if he wants his new film to be released in Mumbai," said senior party leader Manohar Joshi, a former speaker of the Lok Sabha. Sena warned to create disturbance in the release of 'My Name Is Khan.'

As SRK took the fight alone, the B-town celebs gradually turned up to support King Khan, but not openly. They are merely lending their moral support by expressing themselves in social networking sites.
